Two different recommendations
An October walkthrough favours Peekaboo and shows a close glove position with side-to-side movement. Under the same discussion, a viewer suggests Weaver if you cannot get Peekaboo. The viewer does not provide a stat comparison or a roll guarantee.
Those answers are not the same claim. One creator shows a style he likes. One player offers another name to consider. Neither claim shows that Weaver copies Peekaboo's guard, movement, recovery or match results. Weaver also does not appear on the published rarity lists used on this site. If Weaver is not in your Styles screen, you cannot test the suggestion.
The drill, if you own both
Keep the device, settings, distance and practice opponent stable.
- Hold and release the guard without punching. See whether you recognise the posture and still see the opponent.
- Defend one incoming attack with an action you have already practised.
- Return one straight, then stop and reset.
- Repeat a few times and write down the input, spacing or recovery problem.
| What you notice | How to read it |
|---|---|
| You lose the target | Which style lets you follow the opponent more comfortably? |
| The return punch misses | Retest range and aim before you blame the style. |
| You press the wrong action | Go back to a single input before you judge either style. |
This compares handling. It is not a damage test.
If you only have one, or neither
You do not need the other style to practise tracking, guarding and a short response. Name the problem you want a different style to solve. Losing sight of the opponent is a testable problem. Wanting the style from a video is not a control diagnosis.
Before you spend a spin, read the live slot, balance, cost and result rules. The style guide covers that screen. For the actions in the drill, use the defensive exchange.
