Train against AI, then fight players

Use AI to isolate one action, then carry that same goal into a player match and score the action rather than only the win.

Pick one target before the round

The developer offers player fights and AI practice. Exact menu buttons can differ by device, so use the labels in your game. October walkthroughs recommend AI before a player match so you can answer a small question about your own inputs.

Choose one target: keep the opponent in view, tell a straight from an uppercut, defend one incoming punch, or return one punch and reset. If the bindings are still uncertain, start with the controls guide.

Three practice blocks

These labels are a training plan. They do not change the match rules.

Block A: recognise the action

Throw a straight and stop. Repeat with the other glove. Compare that motion with an uppercut or an overhand. Finish when you can name the action before you press it.

Block B: defend, then answer

Let one attack become readable. Guard or move your head, watch the result, and throw one return punch only when there is an opening or a COUNTER NOW! prompt. Reset before the next exchange.

Block C: keep the same task when it gets busy

Stay with that action in a longer exchange. If you start mashing, go back to Block A. The task is to keep the decision clear.

Compare like with like

A published fight write-up describes a common ring as three rounds of three minutes, with stamina and cardio bars, and says some rings lock both boxers to 183 cm and the same weight class. Those settings are not confirmed ranked rules. Read the rules on your match board. A practice setup with different stamina or round length will not feel like the next player fight.

When you test a style or a setting, keep the device, camera and distance stable, and repeat the same short action. If you change several things and improve, you will not know which change helped.

You do not need to spend Coins or Robux to finish this plan. Coins are described as coming from wins in numbered rings, not from waiting at spawn. AI opponents are labeled in the game, including examples such as a Medium long-guard out-boxer. An AI bout may not copy another player's side-step or repeated heavy punches.

Take one goal into PvP

  1. Before you queue, name the one action you will repeat.
  2. In the opening exchange, watch distance and rhythm before a long attack.
  3. Attempt that action when the opening appears. Notice whether the opponent changes.
  4. After the fight, write one recurring failure and one adjustment.

A loss can still be a useful result. If the goal was to keep the opponent in view, score that task separately from the knockout. A win with uncontrolled swings does not show that the defensive drill improved.

Ask three questions: did I choose the intended action, did it reach, and could I recover? The weakest answer is the next practice block.

Heavy repeated punches are a separate drill in pressure practice.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What game is First Person Boxing?

It is the Roblox experience by Can You Box?, place 132956556682909. Match the creator as well as the title. Other Roblox boxing games use different controls and codes.

Where do I practise or fight?

The official description offers fights against other players and practice against AI, on PC, mobile and console. Use the in-game mode labels. A numbered ring is where published guides say match Coins are earned; standing at spawn is not described as the coin route.

Does a higher rarity mean the style is stronger?

No. Rarity on published style tables groups a spin result. It does not publish damage, a win rate, or a required style. Compare the guard you can actually use.

What should I recheck after the ranked update?

Open the live controls overlay, the Styles screen, and the Shop. Rank names, matchmaking rules and ranked rewards were not published with the 18 Oct 2026 ranked launch, and punch keys have been reported differently across October guides.
